Well, that was one of THE BEST trips ever. Way better than I ever dreamed of. The days with the gorillas were terrific… We even made it to the Susa Group as we had hoped. 3 hours up and 1 and a half down. Just the perfect hour of my life… gorillas everywhere with perfect light and a little mist floated in. Baby gorillas swinging in trees… 2 silverbacks feet away...gorillas everywhere! Dreamy…
Anyway, want to THANK YOU tons for such an unbelievable time! I am only home a few days… and already thinking when I can get back…

We had a wonderful trip! All the arrangements went smoothly, our driver Mario and all the guides were great, the hotels were lovely and we had a blast. Highlights were the rafting trip, Arenal hanging bridges, zipline, beach/snorkeling at Manuel Antonio — actually we enjoyed all the activities you arranged… All in all, a terrific vacation in a fascinating country. Thanks very much.

Peru was an incredible adventure from start to finish… the wildlife was everywhere, the river amazing, and the logistics were all so smooth … great trip… even if I never did catch a piranha!

Wow what a trip. We had everything fall into place… We have wonderful memories. Thanks so much.

Our family visit to Costa Rica (December 2008) was wonderful and everything went very well. You did a marvelous job of planning and setting up the program and in selecting and choosing interesting places to visit and things to do and see. Our accommodations were excellent. In total we would like to say that the whole trip was well planned and preparations were excellent.
Our guide was extraordinary in his knowledge and ability to present information in a meaningful manner. The adults and the children in our group were equally able to appreciate his presentations and descriptions. Our driver provided us with safe transportation and was always ready and happy to assist us with our travel needs. Both of these persons were always pleasant, professional and eager to make our visit enjoyable and easy. Thanks for choosing them for us.
We can heartily recommend your organization to plan and prepare such visits. This trip was to celebrate with our family our 50th Wedding Anniversary. We believe that this trip and visit was a perfect way to celebrate the occasion.
Thanks for your help and assistance.

It was a fabulous trip to Madagascar… it was a fun, educational and stress free trip.

Wow… the whole trip was beyond our expectations, the lodgings, the scenery, and most especially the amazing gorillas. We especially loved meeting the Veterinarians working to help save the Mountain gorillas… kudos to a great organization.

We had a wonderful time in our journeys in Rwanda and Uganda in November.
The group traveled together so well and we had a lot of laughter and great fun. I loved the physical demands of the trip. The hiking was fabulous. Francis took such very great care of all of us. He has an EXCELLENT eye on safari and made everything easy. Thank you for having him as our guide.
Of course, the wildlife especially the gorillas and birds were, well I'm not sure which superlatives to select. As I'm sure for most it is an experience that you carry with you into your western life long after you have left the vast, teeming continent of Africa.
I have been to some very remote, obscure and off the beaten track places, but this was different. So much humanity, beauty, fragility all finding their way to exist together. It makes you want to hold your breath waiting to see how it will all work out.
Anyway, thanks again.

We have enjoyed eco/adventure small-group tours to the likes of the Galapagos, Palau, Rwanda, Tanzania, Costa Rica, Belize, Chiapas, Venezuela, Guyana, Frederick Sound, etc., and had hopes of similar adventures in Madagascar. Our expectations were exceeded, and much of the credit for that goes to you. Thanks very much for all you did to make it such an outstanding and memorable experience. It was a fantastic adventure.

I would definitely recommend Terra Incognita Ecotours to anyone… I went to Madagascar 3 times in 2007 and Terra Incognita Ecotours planned all 3 of my trips as well as a recent trip to the Amazon. I'm going back to Madagascar in June and December of this year and they are handling all of the arrangements. I'm also planning to go to Rwanda in 2009 with Terra Incognita Ecotours.
One of the great things about booking with Terra incognita Ecotours is the fact they give back to each destination (by donating to a local conservation group) — and I personally witnessed how much this helps the local people as well as the animals.
I have traveled with many tour companies over the last 20 years (ie: Abercrombie & Kent, Tauck, Linblad, Backroads, National Geographic etc.) and I prefer Terra Incognita Ecotours HANDS DOWN!

Since reading about Dian Fossey in National Geographic as a kid and of course seeing the movie, Gorillas in the Mist, I have dreamed of going not only there, but a lot of other places. My only fear was that Rwanda would be a let down, and not meet my expectations. I feared for not. It exceeded all my dreams.
Travel Well and Enjoy!

I would like to simply say that viewing mountain gorillas in the wild was a wonderful and magical experience. My husband and I were fortunate to be part of the November 2005 group, and our memories will last a lifetime. We wholeheartedly recommend the trip and Terra Incognita Ecotours. The accommodations and activities of the tour all exceeded our expectations; and the parts of Rwanda we visited were absolutely beautiful. Encounters with the mountain gorillas and a visit to Dian Fossey's research camp and gravesite were icing on the cake.
Bottomline, we would not hesitate to climb into a land rover with Terra Incognita Ecotours Ged again.

Thank you! Michael and I are just back from one of the most memorable journeys we have ever taken. Whether it was spotting 150 bird species (a record, according to our guide) or watching our Peruvian naturalist capture the caiman that got loose in our small boat, we were awed the whole way. We especially marveled at the way the trip was run… top notch organization and absolutely lovely people.
We are already dreaming about next year…
Just wanted to let you know that we are more than satisfied customers. Thanks again for helping to make our trip incredible.
